![]() ![]() ![]() Irony is making a pointless reply saying I shouldn't make what you claim is a pointless post. This particular one isn't, I don't believe. Why waste time? Realistically, I'm months, if not years, from being competitive in and of myself. I just don't see where it gets any better in the near future. None of the stuff I can build has any real use whatsoever. They give me similar troops to attack with. The higher levels stuff the lower level TC's and command centers with digital age troops. I start a bunch of upgrades then nothing to do for a few days. I do this a couple times and I'm maxed on resources. My cold war or higher alliance members give me some RPGs, I smash a base in 30 seconds, and I get ~1-2M food+gold. Now, the issue is more that there is nothing challenging. I bought the 3 house updates so I had 18 workers already in gunpowder age.Īt first, the game was fun. Money was less than what I spend on a bottle of wine so that doesn't bother me. As in, easy to check in about every 30 minutes (once per load of corn). Tractors/combine largely drive themselves so a lot of time to be on a game like this nearly continuously (or close enough it doesn't matter). ![]() You sit in tractors or trucks or combine not 24/7 but pretty close. I selected the game to play during harvest. To play a game 24/7 which is beyond retarded I think if I was actually playing on a level playing field, so to speak (neither benefitting from nor being hindered by players multiple ages ahead/behind me), I would enjoy the progression of the game. In a WW, at best I can mop up low level bases using donated troops. A couple cycles and I'm maxed on resources. Up-level alliance donate coldwar or better troops. My perception has more to do with game dynamics. I just stepped back a bit and considered. Right now I was sitting on a fully upgraded/researched gunpowder age base. I do see that oil changes things somewhat. ![]()
